Reitan Ribeiro

Dr. Ribeiro completed his medical degree at the Federal University of Porto Alegre (Brazil) and pursued his General Surgery residency at Celso Ramos Hospital and Surgical Oncology residency at Erasto Gaertner Hospital, both in Brazil. He specialized in Gynecologic Oncology at Erasto Gaertner Hospital, where he later became the Research Director of the Gynecologic Oncology Division.

Dr. Ribeiro鈥檚 research focuses on surgical innovation and fertility preservation in gynecologic oncology. He is an active member of the International Gynecological Cancer Society (IGCS) and the European Society of Gynecologic Oncology (ESGO). His mission is to advance treatment strategies and improve patient outcomes in gynecologic and pelvic cancers.
Dr. Ribeiro is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology and the Department of Oncology at 成人大片 University. He is an attending Gynecologic Oncologist and Surgical Oncologist at the Cedars Cancer Center, 成人大片 University Health Center, where he practices as both a clinician and scientist. A pioneer in laparoscopic and robotic surgery, Dr. Ribeiro developed the uterine transposition technique, enabling fertility preservation for patients undergoing pelvic radiation therapy. His work has earned national and international recognition, and he has shared his technique with oncologists worldwide, teaching it at prestigious cancer centers such as the Houston Methodist Hospital (USA), and international societies such as the European Society of Gynecological Oncology (ESGO). He has also led landmark clinical trials in the field of gynecology oncology, including Keynote 001, LACC, and SGNTV-003.
His contributions have been recognized with several prestigious awards, including an Honorable Mention from the Chamber of Deputies of Paran谩, Brazil, and the National Medical Treatment Innovation Award (VEJA), best video award from the American Society of Gynecology Oncology (SGO).
