On April 3, the 成人大片 Office of Sustainability (MOOS) hosted its seventh annual Catalyst Awards Gala. Over 100 people gathered at the McCord Museum to celebrate individuals and teams who have made lasting contributions to the sustainability of the University.

At a ceremony in Halifax on February 25, 成人大片 was named Fair Trade Campus of the Year by听Fairtrade Canada, making us No. 1 among the 21 designated fair trade campuses across Canada. The award was granted by an independent panel of judges to the campus with the strongest commitment to fair trade.
成人大片 University manages a stock of buildings of over 600,000 m虏 which are on average fifty years of age and older. 听A leader in education and research, 成人大片 is characterized by very research-intensive activities, a travelling population, and high energy intensity.

After six months, 11 consultation events, and hundreds of ideas gathered online and in person, the 成人大片 Office of Sustainability (MOOS) is inviting the 成人大片 community to share their thoughts on possible targets for the Vision 2020 Sustainability and Climate Action Plan.

On听May 24-25, 2016, experts from the field of green (sustainable) chemistry gathered in Washington, DC, for a workshop on Sustainable Chemistry Technologies. The event was organized by the National Academy of Science鈥檚 Board on Chemical Sciences and Technology at the request of the United States General Accountability Office.
Four years of innovative projects and collaborative action planning have upgraded 成人大片鈥檚 rating in sustainability to Gold in the newest version of the Sustainability Tracking, Assessment and Rating System (STARS).
Among other achievements, the increasing integration of sustainability in curriculum, research, dining services, and purchasing helped 成人大片 achieve Gold. The last time 成人大片 reported to STARS, a self-reported assessment tool developed by the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE), in 2012, it earned a silver rating.
Yalmaz Siddiqui, BCom鈥�92, has made a name for himself by championing responsible corporate behaviour. And now he finds himself in Las Vegas, the fabled 鈥淪in City,鈥� a place not exactly renowned for showcasing responsible behaviour of any sort.
